About Allie

"At the heart of each of us there exists a perfect rhythm, which is absolutely individual and unique and yet which connects us to everything else."  -- George Leonard.

I find Mr. Leonard's words to ring true, and I have spent much of my life motivated to uncover this rhythm in myself, and, then in turn to support of others with this connection too.

I started down this line of work because I had no clue how.

In my 'quarter-life crisis' I folded a bike-share company, called weBike, which I co-founded after college (about 10 years too early). After five years, my co-founders and I realized we were ragged from side-hustling and struggling to turn a "profitable business." We decided to fold the company.  At this crossroads, I felt at a loss for what to do next or how to even know to navigate myself there.

This is when I found my way into the self discovery world. I started to explore myself deeper, realizing that weBike, while an invaluable entrepreneurial pursuit, had not been my life's passion nor the best use of my natural strengths.

As I connected with this awareness, I became passionate about learning more of myself and how this pathway could open up new possibility and insight I hadn't seen before.
Over the course of the next chapter in my life, I supported entrepreneurs develop mentorship & Emotional Intelligence programs. I directed operations for a startup that created intimate peer advisory forums for founders. I organized my local community of creative peers to gather in interesting, and growth-oriented ways. Then I found an amazing role leading human-centered design at the University of Maryland as an adjunct professor, and I started to find my love for teaching & creating vibrant learning environments.

Through this process, I began to blend tools from entrepreneurship, design, self discovery and emotional intelligence to offer a new toolkit - one that paired inner awareness, with creativity, resilience and empowerment to bring insight to life.
These tools, which felt so vital for learning how to navigate in life in a way that is authentic to who you really are, also felt so rare to find. It seemed as though they were something that had to be sought out rather than readily available to learn. I developed a passion for teaching these tools and I began my own coaching and teaching practice where I created workshops, coaching programs, and courses to blend these practices and processes to help people navigating life, change or leadership.

I brought these workshops to organizational teams, and to startup founders or leaders who are seeking to navigate their way with greater consciousness and creativity, on a path authentic to them.

I continue to teach these tools, processes and skillsets, evolving them as I learn and discover more for myself. I have trained further within the Emotional Intelligence realm, studying and supporting the Possibilities Consulting team of Michael and Michelle Saul. For four years I hosted these immersive EQ workshops in the DC community, and trained in the amazing content. I have also had the incredible opportunity to co-design a conscious leadership bootcamp for startup founders, in partnership with the Conscious Venture lab. Together we have delivered this two day immersive workshop across the US and abroad - including at the Laduato Si' Challenge, sponsored by the Vatican.

I continue to be on my journey, exploring new tools and the ways I apply these tools within my own life as well as I how I can most usefully translate them into processes and insight for others. I love to teach and create space for people to learn how to see themselves with deeper clarity, and create trust in their ability to carve their life in a meaningful, vibrant and authentic way.
